PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence, he is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at ESCP Business School in the Madrid Campus. Gonzalo Fernandez de Cordoba, previously held a permanent position as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Málaga. He has also taught in Salamanca, Huelva, Sevilla, Bogotá, Madrid (U. Carlos III and U. Complutense), Santiago de Chile, and Miami.
He is currently researching the effects of Artificial Intelligence on production and income distribu-tion, spatial macroeconomic models, and cryptoeconomics. He teaches and writes on numerical methods for dynamic general equilibrium models, macroeconomics, and international trade theo-ry.

He is happily married and has three children—and a dog.
