Kamran Razmdoost is Dean of ESCP Business School, London Campus (UK). Kamran is a member of ESCP’s European Executive Committee, leads the London campus senior man-agement team, and is responsible for the strategic and academic development of the campus. He also acts as Managing Director of the School’s Corporate Services Board, responsible for executive education provision to leading multinational businesses.
Kamran joined ESCP Business School in 2017 and is a Professor of Marketing. Before his Deanship, he acted as the Director of the MSc in Marketing and Creativity, ranked the 5th marketing master globally.
Kamran’s research is broadly focused on the emergence of service ecosystems through insti-tutional change. Conceptually, he looks at the dynamics of boundaries in such emergence, and empirically he has been investigating business relationships, more recently with a focus on social enterprise-corporate relationships. Kamran has a strong network of collaborators across the UK and globally. He has taught system thinking, consumer value, brand activism, and strategic marketing on a number of postgraduate and executive development pro-grammes.
Prior to joining ESCP, Kamran was a Lecturer and Researcher (Assistant Professor) at Uni-versity College London, where he was the Deputy Director of MSc in Strategic Management of Projects and engaged with a range of business and management teaching, research, and consulting activities in the context of the built environment. Kamran holds a PhD in Market-ing from Cranfield School of Management and completed his MSc in Strategic Marketing at Cranfield School of Management, MBA at Sharif University of Technology, and BSc in Me-chanical Engineering at KNT University of Technology.
Before his academic career, Kamran acted as project risk manager, contract negotiator, management system auditor, project manager, department head, and health and safety engi-neer, mainly in the energy sector.
