Alisa Sydow is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at ESCP Business School. She primarily teaches entrepreneurship and corporate entrepreneurship, with a focus on new technologies and impact. Alisa’s research interests centre on entrepreneurship in developing countries, particularly in Kenya and Uganda, with a focus on technology entrepreneurship and women’s entrepreneur-ship. She has authored articles published in leading management journals, such as Entrepre-neurship Theory and Practice, as well as case studies and papers presented at international conferences, including AOM, EGOS, and EURAM. She holds a PhD in Management and Innovation from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. In addition to her academic work, Alisa is the founder of Nampelka, a start-up that connects women entrepreneurs in developing countries with international experts to foster shared learning experiences.
